Shane Warne was one of the greatest spinner cricket would ever have. Shane Warne, the King of Spin, died on March 4th. He was found dead at his hotel in Thailand, the victim of a suspected heart attack. Warne bid farewell to international cricket in 2007 with a total of 708 Test wickets. Following his retirement, Warne became one of the most prominent names in T20 leagues.
On Tuesday, Rajasthan Royals faced Sunrisers Hyderabad in their first game of the season. Rajasthan paid an emotional tribute ‘to the first royal’ in the RR family. Warne was the captain of the RR team who lifted the IPL trophy in the inaugural season.
Rajasthan Royals put up a poster of Shane Warne in their dug-out. The poster read “Forever the first Royal”. The picture of the poster was shared by RR on Twitter. Sharing the picture, Rajasthan wrote: “With us wherever we go”
