Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa smashed sixes and fours all over the field to not only stitch a 165-run partnership, but also to revitalize CSK, who finished their innings on a massive 216/4.

Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube of Chennai Super Kings created IPL history by smashing the second highest total of 15 sixes in the last 10 overs against RCB in Mumbai on Tuesday (April 12).

Despite the efforts of the RCB bowlers, the duo finished with a 165-run partnership, which is not only the highest in IPL 2022, surpassing the 118-run position between RCB’s Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis in their first game of the season, but also the highest third-wicket partnership in IPL history, breaking a 10-year-old record set by Cameron White and Kumar Sangakkara for Deccan Chargers against Pune Warriors in IPL 2012.
