TATA IPL 2022 RCB v RR: Yuzvendra Chahal to play his first game against RCB

On Tuesday, Chahal will face his former squad, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, with whom he played from 2014 to 2021.

The Rajasthan Royals have already turned it on this IPL season, winning two matches with scores of 193 and 210, and will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table when they face Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium.

So far, 200-plus totals have been tracked down two of three times, but the Royals have defended effectively in both games. Except for Nathan Coulter-Nile, who sat out the second match after collapsing in the first due to a leg injury, all of their frontline bowlers have taken wickets, and Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin, who has formed a dream spin combination, as well as Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna, have economy rates under seven. It’s early days, but if the Royals keep playing with the same intensity, they might be strong title candidates.

He was the franchise’s leading wicket-taker in four of those seasons and the franchise’s all-time leading wicket-taker with 139 strikes.
