Prithvi Shaw is one of only two Indian batsmen with a 30+ average and 140+ strike rate against spinners, the other being Sanju Samson.
After being sent in to bat by LSG captain KL Rahul, Shaw opened the batting with Australian batsman David Warner and hit 34 runs in 34 balls, including 9 fours and two sixes. When he edged one from K Gowtham to Quinton de Kock, he was ultimately dismissed.
While the rest battled around him, it appeared as though Shaw was hitting on a another surface. He sliced the ball with his fast hands and drove everything full over cover with similar speed.
