Sunrisers Hyderabad invited Punjab Kings to bat in the first match of the day which is also a doubleheader. Heading towards the big score over 200 runs with 7 Wickets in hands. But once Shahrukh Khan departed, the team collapsed and failed to capitalize the momentum provided by Liam Livingstone’s innings of 60 runs. Punjab Kings managed to score 151 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
While defending the 151 runs, fans slam the inclusion of Odean Smith in the team once again over other players. Smith scored just 13 runs off 15 balls he faced. In the league, he has managed to score only 25*(8), 9*(12), 3(7), 0(1), 1(1), and 13(15). The performance of the player has been dropping down and hasn’t seen the glimpse of a pinch hitter for which he has been included in the team.
