Shivam Dube has missed out on his first fifty of the season. He and Ambati Rayudu also completed their fifty-run partnership and they were just too good against Lucknow Super Giants as they didn’t let any bowlers take over them. Since the start of the first innings, CSK dominated the game and they just ripped off LSG bowlers.
The wickets were also falling for CSK but all the batters came onto the pitch with one mindset that they are going to maintain their pace and try to reach the huge total. Talking about this game against LSG, only the toss was not in CSK’s favor. Robin Uthappa and Moeen Ali gave the start to CSK they wanted. Then after the wicket of Robin Uthappa, Shivam Dube came on to bat and he played some amazing shots which helped CSK keep up the pace they started with.
Shivam Dube maintained the run rate but was out on 49. He deserved this fifty but couldn’t get it. However, it was a brilliant inning from him even after he missed out on his first IPL 2022 half-century. He was dismissed by an Indian pacer named Avesh Khan in the 19th over.
