After Ambati Rayudu dropped a sitter, Liam Livingstone gets an additional life. Rayudu put in a poor fielding performance, as that should have been taken.

Punjab lost two wickets early on, but Liam Livingstone chipped in with several boundaries and kept  the scoreboard ticking over.

The toss was won by CSK, and they have chosen to bowl first. Ravindra Jadeja, the captain of CSK, made the expected decision to bowl first. Chennai has made one change, with Chris Jordan replacing Tushar Deshpande in the death bowling department.
