KL Rahul, the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants, completed 150 sixes in the Indian Premier League on Sunday in the 45th match of the ongoing season against Delhi Capitals.
Rahul is behind only to Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler in terms of most runs scored in the ongoing Indian Premier League season, with two centuries and one fifty at an average of 56.29 and a strike rate of 141.21.
Rahul has also become the fastest Indian batsman in the IPL record, having smashed 150 sixes in just 95 innings.
Lucknow Super Giants are a wicket down against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai after electing to bat. In the first four overs, openers KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock scored 41 runs before the latter was removed by Shardul Thakur.
