TATA IPL 2022: Kane Williamson reaches 2000 runs in the tournament

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is facing Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022’s 25th match on Friday. After losing two games in a row, SRH is on a two-match winning run. KKR, on the other hand, has three victories from five games.

In today’s match against Kolkata Knight Riders, Kane Williamson achieves his 2000th run in the IPL. After David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan, he is now the third player for SRH to score over 2000 runs.

The second-wicket partnership between Rahul Tripathi and Kane Williamson has been broken after 4+ overs. And Andre Russell, the batsman’s primary attacker, did it with the ball. In the sixth over, he got a length ball to slant in a little, and Williamson’s pull has been pulled onto his stumps, much like Abhishek’s dismissal.
