TATA IPL 2022: Kagiso Rabada all set to make his debut for Punjab Kings against KKR

South African pacer Kagiso Rabada will be playing his first game of IPL 2022 in the new jersey of PBKS against KKR at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

South African pacer Kagiso Rabada is making his debut for Punjab Kings on Friday, 1st April against Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium. Rabada was been bought by Punjab Kings in this year’s IPL mega auction back in February for 9.25 Crore. He is an exceptional bowler and all these years in the IPL he dominates. Kagiso Rabada also has a ‘Purple cap’ to his name in the IPL 2020 when he used to play for Delhi Capitals.

Delhi Capitals didn’t retain the South African pacer before the mega auction and hence he was been included in the auction list. The year he won his first IPL ‘Purple cap’, he finished the league with 30 wickets. Kagiso Rabada was picked up by PBKS to strengthen their bowling line-up and there’s no doubt that the inclusion of the South African pacer has really made the team look strong.

He will be bowling his first ball for PBKS in the second innings as Mayank Agarwal lost the toss and they are going to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday at Wankhede Stadium.
