Josh Hazlewood, an Australian bowler, is set to join the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad for the IPL-15 season and will be available from April 12. This means Hazlewood will be unavailable for selection against the Rajasthan Royals on April 5 and the Mumbai Indians on April 9, and would only be available against the Chennai Super Kings on April 12.
Hazlewood, who was part of Australia’s team during the Pakistan series, will join the team and will be subjected to a three-day quarantine. Last year, Hazlewood played a key role in the Chennai Super Kings’ fourth trophy. Following a five-wicket loss in their IPL 2022 opening against Punjab Kings, the Royal Challengers Bangalore won their following game against the Kolkata Knight Riders by three wickets.
