TATA IPL 2022: Jos Butler knocks his 100th IPL six against RCB

Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal’s 70-run second-wicket stand came to an end in the 10th over when Harshal Patel bowled Padikkal, but not before the left-hander had hit 37 runs for the Rajasthan Royals.

Jos Butler hits his 100th sixer in IPL for Rajasthan Royals against Royal Challengers Bangalore tonight at Wankhede stadium.
Jos Butler, the first player to reach a century in this season’s Indian Premier League (IPL), has been in outstanding form, leading Rajasthan Royals to a flawless start with two victories in two games. In the current Indian Premier League, Butler is tied for second in terms of most fours.

Buttler produced a 68-ball century against Mumbai to help his team reach 193 for 8, and the bowlers then did their part as the Royals won their second game in a row.

Because of the curfew placed on English players for participation, Jos Buttler had to wait for his IPL debut. Buttler evidently fetched a decent price after that was lifted from the 2016 season forward, since he was selected by the Mumbai Indians. He bounced about between the opener and the middle of the order, gaining a few starts but never breaking out. Buttler’s 2017 season was similar in that he was deployed as a floater by the MI franchise. It was clear that the tournament hadn’t brought out the best in him, as had been the case with international cricket for some time.
