Rahul Tripathi got injured during SRH’s game against Gujarat Titans on Monday, 11th April at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy. It was a major setback for Sunrisers Hyderabad as Indian batter Tripathi was forced to go out of the field after he met with an injury during the game. Rahul Tripathi was in an exceptional touch since he came on to bat against Gujarat Titans on Monday. He was playing some amazing shots, but during the game when Rahul Tewatia came to bowl the 14th over, he hit a huge six in the first ball but got injured and doctors inspected that it was a calf injury.
Rahul was down on the ground just after the first ball of the 14th over. Rahul Tripathi was forced to go out of the field as he got ‘retired-hurt’ and West Indies’ batter Nicolas Pooran replaced him and came to bat in the 14th over.
If SRH lose quick wickets, Rahul Tripathi will have to come back on the field as per rules. But still if the batsman is injured badly and couldn’t even walk then the team will play with just 10 men.
