Royal Challengers Bangalore’ wicket keeping batsman Dinesh Karthik has done an incredible job as a finisher in the IPL 2022 season from the first match of his team.
In the last five matches Dinesh scored 32 runs in 14 balls against Punjab Kings, 14 runs in 7 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders, 44 runs in 23 balls against Rajasthan Royals, 7 runs in 2 balls against Mumbai Indians, and was only dismissed for 34 runs in 14 balls against Chennai Super Kings.
DD paid 10.5 crores for his services in 2014, while RCB spent an astounding 12.5 crores in 2015. However, the runs were not as frequent as he had hoped, and his stock prices dropped. In 2016, he joined the Gujarat Lions, which had just been created, for his fourth team in four years.
However, 2018 brought happy information and fantastic form as he was selected to captain KKR and was purchased for 7.4 crores ahead of the 2018 IPL season. Karthik was tasked with being his team’s finisher, and he delivered with some excellent scores down the order.
