Surprise-packages Gujarat Titans have dominated the IPL in their first season, owing to a well-assembled and well-coached team led by local hero Hardik Pandya’s all-round abilities. Their batting has outperformed expectations, with Hardik Pandya and David Miller of South Africa leading the way with outstanding performances in the first half of the season.

Hardik Pandya scored a half-century, but Gujarat were limited to 156/9 in 20 overs by Tim Southee and Andre Russell.
