The 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will begin on March 26. Over two months, ten teams will compete for ultimate glory, with the final set to take place on May 29. BCCI announced the schedule for the momentous event on March 6. Chennai Super Kings will face Kolkata Knight Riders in the tournament opener.
This season teams are divided into two groups, A and B. Each team will play two matches against the teams in their group and one against the teams in another group.
Group A includes Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants. Group B includes Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
All league matches will be played in Maharashtra, Wankhede, and DY Patil Stadium of Mumbai will host 20 matches each. At the same time, the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai and MCA Stadium in Pune will host 15 games each.
