In the 49th match of IPL 2022 against Royal Challengers Bangalore, MS Dhoni will play his 200th game for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
Dhoni has scored 4312 runs with an average of 40.67 and 137.32 strike rate in 199 matches for CSK so far.
Today, he is also in his 13th year as captain of CSK, and he is regarded as a demi-god by a large number of Indian cricket fans as well as the world at large.
Dhoni has 4886 runs, a 39.40 average, and a 135.72 SR in the IPL so far, and he’s also a maestro with the gloves on, with 131 catches and 39 stumpings, leading Chennai Super Kings to 11 playoffs, 9 finals, and four IPL titles in 12 seasons. In CLT20, he also led CSK to two titles and appeared in 11 finals.
Dhoni’s legacy has increased as a result of his incredible achievements in the IPL, and he has been labeled “the god of modern-day cricket India” by his arch-rivals, the Mumbai Indians, in a documentary produced by them.
He hasn’t quit CSK yet, as he vowed, and in 2022 he will finish games and head CSK once more. He has a mission to preserve CSK both on and off the field this year, since the squad is in a playoff race and the future team structure is a necessity.
