Kolkata Knight Riders’ Rinku Singh has received a lot of appreciation by fans on Twitter for his great fielding skills by grabbing incredible catches to dismiss Sanju Samson and Karun Nair in the 47th match of the ongoing IPL 2022 season against Rajasthan Royals.
Rinku Singh made his IPL 2022 debut against Gujarat Titans in Kolkata Knight Riders’ eighth game of the season. Before making his mark with the bat, the 24-year-old made a name for himself in the field, grabbing four key catches, including that of Titans captain Hardik Pandya.
In 2017, he acquired a 10-lakh IPL contract with Kings XI Punjab, although he didn’t play a single game that season.
In T20 cricket, he has over 1000 runs at a strike rate of 136. Rinku also bowls off-spin part-time.
His brother obtained him a sweeper and cleaner job when he was a teenager in a family where money was tight. Rinku faced several obstacles when he first began playing cricket, but his enthusiasm and love for the game kept him going. He earned a motorcycle for being the top player in a local Delhi tournament, which he donated to his father to help him distribute the heavy gas cylinders.
