Andre Russell will play in IPL 2022 for Kolkata Knight Riders against Royal Challengers Bangalore, marking his 400th t20 match.
Andre Russell, aย middle-order batsman, made his ODI debut against Ireland at the 2011 World Cup. He had previously played one Test versus Sri Lanka in 2010 by that time.
In T20 cricket, the West Indian all-rounder is the only bowler to take four wickets in four deliveries. In 2013, he achieved the feat against India. He was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian T20 League in 2014 after a few brief appearances for Delhi. He had a few excellent games and was part of a winning squad.
Andre Russell got โMan of the Matchโ thrice in 2015 season of the IPL. His three fifties that season saw him accumulate 326 runs at an astonishing strike-rate of 192. He was also a standout with the ball, taking 14 wickets to earn the title of ‘Most Valuable Player’ in the 2015 IPL.
