Gujarat Titans’ batter Sai Sudharsan hit the stumps himself while batting against Mumbai Indians on Friday, 6th May at Brabourne Stadium. It was a strange dismissal for the uncapped Indian batter as he didn’t knew that he was so close to stumps in the Kieron Pollard’s over.
Mumbai Indians got their wicket they were searching for so long and it came in a funny way. Gujarat Titans’ batter Sai Sudharsan became the fourteen player in the history of IPL to get out ‘hit-wicket’. Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya is also in this list of ‘hit-wicket’. Hardik was standing at the non-strike when this incident happened. It was a funny moment for all as Pollard respond with a smile after he saw that Sudharsan has got himself out with his own bat.
