Sunrisers Hyderabad continued their dominance in IPL 2025 with a record-breaking batting performance in their clash against Rajasthan Royals. They posted a mammoth 282/6 in 19.5 overs, registering the second-highest team total in IPL history, just shy of their own all-time record of 287 runs.
The charge was led by Ishan Kishan, who remained unbeaten on 102 off 46 balls, slamming 10 fours and 6 sixes at a breathtaking strike rate of 221.74. This was Kishan’s maiden IPL hundred, and it came in style on his debut match for SRH.

He was well supported by Travis Head (67 off 31), Nitish Kumar Reddy (30 off 15), and Heinrich Klaasen (34 off 14) as SRH batters tormented the Royals’ bowling unit.
Tushar Deshpande was the pick of the RR bowlers with three wickets, but he also went for 55 runs. Maheesh Theekshana picked up two wickets, while Sandeep Sharma took one. Jofra Archer, however, endured a nightmare outing, conceding 76 runs in his four overs, now officially the most expensive spell in IPL history.
The explosive finish in the death overs helped SRH post a total that not only sends a strong message to the rest of the league but also marks one of the most dominant team batting performances in IPL annals.
