As Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) prepares for its maiden victory in the current IPL 2024, they will host Mumbai Indians at home on Wednesday night, at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
In their last match against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens, with Australian cricket star Pat Cummins captaining, SRH lost by only four runs. But though Heinrich Klaasen, Abhishek Sharma, and Shahbaz Ahmed did their valiant best, SRH still fell short in pursuit of the mighty 209-run target.

As they look ahead to their match with MI, speculation is rife about possible changes in the line-up. The surprising move made by Cummins to leave Travis Head out of the previous match raised questions. Instead, he preferred Marco Jansen. Players apart, people are still in doubt as to why Head did not play, and what the satisfaction will be.
However, it appears that SRH will make no major changes to its lineup, with Markus Nair and Mayank Agarwal both producing promising performances in the top order during Travis Head’s absence.
Despite worries about Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s performance in the last match, where after a strong start he gave away 51 runs in four overs, SRH is anticipated to keep the same playing XI for their clash which awaits against MI.
