Delhi capitals have a favourable batting line up this year with the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant to lead the attack. With the new addition of Ajinkya Rahane everybody was left confused as to where will the opener be made to play. With Rahane’s best performances coming at theta of the order, he still believes that he is open to playing at any position the team wants him to play. Rahane has been sweating it out in the nets and shared a video of him practising his strokes under the watchful eyes of DC head catch Ricky Ponting.

The Aussie can be seen giving instructions from time to time. His experience and adaptability might give him an extra edge which can help him establish himself in the new team. He has also played the middle-order role for the Indian side in the past so he will not be new to it. All the DC players are looking forward to the season and also learn a lot from one of the bests in the business without any doubt. DC will start their campaign against the team from Punjab on September 20.
