On Saturday, April 8, at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, the 11th match of the IPL 2023 Rajasthan Royals will be playing (RR) against Delhi Capitals (DC).
Highlights –
This will be the second game of the season in Guwahati. The Royals lost the previous game at this venue against Punjab Kings while chasing a target of 198 runs. RR’s win – The Royals scored 203 runs in 20 overs in the first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, losing five wickets in the process. Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, and Yashasvi Jaiswal all contributed half centuries to the cause. With the ball, Yuzvendra Chahal took four wickets for 17 runs in four overs.
The Capitals have lost both of their first two matches. The Capitals fell 50 runs short of their goal in the opening game against the Lucknow Super Giants, failing to reach their target of 194 runs. The Capitals scored 162 runs in 20 overs against the Gujarat Titans in the second encounter, but they did it at the cost of eight wickets.
In the first six overs of their chase, the Titans lost three wickets, which wasn’t a fantastic start. Vijay Shankar and Sai Sudharsan gave the Titans excellent assistance. Together, they scored 53 runs for the fourth wicket and assisted the Titans in scoring more than 100 runs. Together with Sudharsan, David Miller, who was playing his first game of the season, brought the Titans to victory.
