Roadmap of Gujarat Titans toward lifting their maiden IPL 2022 title

Gujarat Titans have picked up their pace while walking towards the end of the tournament and produced their best when the title opened the door to be claimed by the finalists of IPL 2022.

Gujarat Titans led by Hardik Pandya have yet again proved why they were able to stand against the odds in the IPL 2022. Determination, Game plan, Execution, and self-belief are what took the team across the winning rope. Hardik Pandya’s rise has been phenomenal and has kept his best foot forward while taking his maiden IPL title as a captain home in the Motera stadium. Gujarat Titans have shown intent right from the start of the tournament and haven’t left the table even when the side was considered to be weakest among strong batting lineups.

Gujarat Titans v LSG

Gujarat Titans win their first encounter against another debuting team in the league, Lucknow Super Giants, being led by KL Rahul. GT won the match by 5 wickets with two balls sparing. The likes of Rahul Tewatia 40 off 24 balls played a top knock for the team to chase 158/6.

Gujarat Titans v Delhi Capitals

Shubman Gill’s star knock of 84 runs off 46 balls proved to be mettle for Gujarat’s win against Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals. GT won against DC by 14 runs.

PBKS v Gujarat Titans

Shubman Gill had once again proved why he is the master among the bunch of youngsters who scored 96 off 59 balls to take GT across the winning rope against PBKS by 6 wickets.

Gujarat Titans v Sunrisers Hyderabad

The captain had come to the rescue of the team when the team called for his attention. Hardik Pandya had scored unbeaten 50 off 42 balls to take the side home by 8 wickets.

Gujarat Titans v Rajasthan Royals

Soon after Shubman Gill’s flow of runs took a pause for a while, Hardik Pandya fired from across the ends and delivered the match results in their favour. The side won by 37 runs.

CSK v GT 

The iconic partnership of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ambati Rayudu and Ravindra Jadeja couldn’t beat the blazing Gujarat Titans who won by the match by three runs, credit to David Miller’s 94 off 51 balls to chase down 169/5.

Hardik Pandya’s 67 off 49 balls ensured another victory when the consistent performance by the GT kept becoming highlight of the tournament. GT pulled off the match by 8 runs against KKR.

SRH v GT 

Wriddhiman Saha was top player of the match who pulled off the match alongside the services by Rahul Tewatia who scored 40 off 21 balls. Rashid Khan was the man who delivered when the team needed the most with his captaincy inning of 31 off 11 balls.

RCB v GT 

Virat Kohli’s 58 couldn’t save the day for RCB as the GT clinched the victory by 6 wickets. Rahul Tewatia was once again the man on a mission who scored 40 off 25 balls to finish the match.

GT v PBKS 

Sai Sudarshan, a young Indian uncapped batter took the field to help his side win but sadly failed to do so. PBKS sealed the match by 8 wickets.

MI v GT

Mumbai Indians were searching for their form and found it pretty late but against the table toppers Gujarat Titans. MI beat GT by 5 runs.

Gujarat Titans v LSG

Gujarat Titans won their match against LSG second time and beat the side by 62 runs. Shubman Gill was a top performer of the match with 63 runs.

CSK v GT 

CS lost their second match in the season against Gujarat Titans even when their top guns like Ruturaj Gaikwad performed to their best. Wriddhiman Saha from GT stepped up to the plate and won the match by scoring 67 runs.

GT v RCB

RCB won their match when their top man performed. Virat Kohli scored 73 runs while edging out GT in eliminator match by 8 wickets.

Rajasthan Royals v GT

Rajasthan Royals couldn’t stun the Gujarat Titans in the qualifier match to finals. GT stole the show with David Miller coming to rescue by scoring 68 runs. It won the match by seven wickets.

Final Match GT v RR

Jos Buttler was a man on the mission when he attempted to take Rajasthan Royals for a big score in the IPL 2022 final. Sadly, the perfect plan by Hardik worked and the side won the match by seven wickets.
