‘Representing and leading the home state is extremely special’, says Hardik Pandya

The Ahmedabad Franchise owned by the CVC Capitals announced on Wednesday that they will call their Franchise Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022.

Gujarat Titans went on Twitter to congratulate Hardik Pandya and his family as he would be leaving his home state, Gujarat in the upcoming IPL 2022.

“Saras, Hardik Bhai! It’s a big year for not just our captain, but the Pandya family”, Gujarat Titans tweets. They also posted a saying of Hardik Pandya where he said, “REPRESENTING AND LEADING THE HOME STATE IS EXTREMELY SPECIAL. I CAN SEE THE JOY ON MY FAMILY’S FACES!”.

The Ahmedabad Franchise owned by the CVC Capitals announced on Wednesday that they will call their Franchise ‘Gujarat Titans’ in the IPL 2022. Gujarat Titans are all set to debut in the IPL 2022 along with RPSG group-owned Lucknow Super Giants. The team logo of Gujarat Titans is yet to come whereas Lucknow Super Giants have already launched their team logo.

The Gujarat Titans’ home ground will be the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. With Hardik as their Captain, the franchise also consists of Afghanistan’s mystery spinner, Rashid Khan, and young batsman, Shubman Gill.

The CVC Capitals won the bid for Ahmdebad Franchise for Rs 5625 cr while the RPSG group won the bid for Lucknow Franchise for Rs 7090 cr. Both the teams will join the existing eight teams in the IPL mega auction 2022 on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru.
