Ravi Bishnoi sends back Suryakumar Yadav for a golden duck

Coming into the game against Mumbai, Bishnoi once again was the most-watched out bowler from the PBKS side, besides Arshdeep, and he made an instant impact in his very first over.

Ravi Bishnoi is having a great season with the ball in his hand. He was brought back into the team after the first game, which PBKS lost against RR. And he justified his selection by picking up 3 wickets, which turned the tide of the match.

Coming into the game against Mumbai, Bishnoi once again was the most-watched out bowler from the PBKS side, besides Arshdeep, and he made an instant impact in his very first over. Punjab had only managed to put up a score of 135 in their 20 overs, and they required a great start with the ball if they were to make any comeback in the match. The three overs by the pacers were economic enough to put the Mumbai openers under pressure, and then Bishnoi made the most of it in the fourth over.

On the third ball of his over, Rohit Sharma decided to up the ante by taking on the leg spinner, and the strategy backfired. As a result, Rohit Sharma ended up giving a tamed catch at Mid-on to Mandeep Singh. This brought Surya Kumar Yadav to the crease, who was not enjoying a great outing in this phase of the IPL.

Bishnoi must have had the same thought in his mind when he bowled the loopy wrong one, which completely deceived the right-hander. Suryakumar Yadav, looking to play towards the off side ended up missing the ball completely, which jagged back in just enough to clean bowled him. Yadav had to take the long walk back to the pavilion after scoring a golden duck. Bishnoi now has 9 wickets in just 6 matches that he has played this season.
