Shimron Hetmyer scored 106 runs in the game. The West Indies returned from their Test series debacle to post a challenging score of 322 against India. Shimron Hetmyer scored an outstanding century as the team rebounded from their Test series debacle. This was the first one-day international of the series.
The Royals roped in the swashbuckler due to his decent batting displays. Last season, Hetmyer was the Royals’ fourth-highest run-getter with 314 runs at an excellent average. As a result of missing the flight, he was left out of the WI T20 World Cup squad and has not played for the team since then.
