BCCI has officially announced the Indian squad for the South Africa tour of India. SRH batter Rahul Tripathi wasn’t picked up in this 18-man squad. Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s batter did well in this year’s IPL. He (Rahul Tripathi) finished some games for SRH this season and was also one of the important players for the team (Sunrisers Hyderabad).
Rahul Tripathi has scored 397 runs so far for SRH in this year’s IPL. He played all the 14 games for the franchise and was constantly playing well for them. SRH used Rahul Tripathi as a No.3 batter and playing at this new position he scored runs with an average of 39.70. Some of the fans aren’t happy that Rahul Tripathi couldn’t make the Indian squad as they felt he deserved a place in the squad.
CSK batter Ruturaj Gaikwad was been named in the squad despite his poor form in IPL 2022. LSG batter Deepak Hooda also made it into the squad as he had a great season of IPL in new Jersey. All-rounder Venkatesh Iyer and wicket-keeper batter Dinesh Karthik have also been picked up in the 18-man squad.
