On Thursday, after an embarrassing loss by the Mumbai Indians against Chennai Super Kings in the second leg opener of the Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indian’s and India’s predicted T20 Captain Rohit Sharma will certainly make a comeback against their favourite opponents Kolkata Knight Riders in what is a much-needed win required by the 5 times IPL champions. The ultimate return of Rohit Sharma will certainly provide a massive boost to the team’s confidence after their batting unit completely dissolved against Chennai Super Kings. He will now face the ace spinner Varun Chakravarthy on Thursday, held at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The Hitman always loves to play against Kolkata Knight Riders, as this will mark the perfect comeback for him in the tournament. The match contest between Varun Chakravarthy and Rohit Sharma is certainly gonna be eye-watering and something which the fans are truly excited to look after. Head coach Mahela Jayawardene has said at the press conference that Rohit Sharma would be considered to return for the clash against KKR on Thursday. Rohit Sharma scored a big 102 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders back in the year 2012, marking him the only Mumbai Indians batsman to score against KKR.

Mumbai Indians sitting in the fourth spot is much needed for a win, meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders sitting on the sixth spot, got to a brilliant start as they look forward to providing a comeback to the tournament and qualify for the playoffs.
