PL 2023 LSG vs CSK: Rain delays game once again

Rain has once again interrupted the game, leaving the players off the field and the square being covered. This delay has given everyone a chance to reflect on the impressive performance by Ayush Badoni, who has scored an unbeaten 59 runs off just 33 balls on a pitch that has proven to be challenging for the batsmen.

Thanks to Badoni’s knock, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have reached a total of 125 with only four balls remaining in the innings, which is a score they can hope to defend. It’s hard to believe that LSG were struggling at 62/5 after 14 overs, but they have managed to double their score in the following five overs, all thanks to Badoni’s excellent batting.

However, the rain delay is not good news for either team as there’s only around 30 minutes left before they start losing overs. Reports suggest that if LSG doesn’t bat again, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will have a target of 127 in 19 overs.

This delay is not only frustrating for the players but also for the fans who have been eagerly waiting to watch their favorite teams play.
