MS Dhoni’s new look grabs David Warner’s attention ahead of IPL 2024

Cricket fans were in for a surprise as MS Dhoni, reminiscent of his 2007 T20 World Cup days, flaunted his long hair during the practice sessions for IPL 2024 with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

As CSK commenced their practice sessions, Dhoni’s new look, complete with long hair and a stylish headband, not only captured the attention of fans but also drew praise from fellow cricketers, including David Warner.

Taking to Instagram, Warner shared a story crediting Dhoni for his new look and expressed his admiration, stating, “Loving the new headband MS Dhoni.”

Dhoni’s return to the cricket field last year, after dousing retirement rumors, marked a significant moment for fans. He assured them of his commitment to playing for CSK for at least another season, considering it a return gift to his loyal supporters. Despite managing a knee injury during the previous season, Dhoni led CSK to their fifth IPL crown. He underwent knee surgery and dedicated himself to rehabilitation, ensuring his fitness for the upcoming season.

Having arrived in Chennai in early March, Dhoni has been actively leading CSK’s training sessions at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The stadium is set to host the opening match of IPL 2024 between CSK and Royal Challengers Bangalore next Friday.
