Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is now again in the headlines with his words on earning respect from the fans. MS Dhoni has spoken about how important is to earn respect as a leader from the people and the fans.
As everyone knows, MS Dhoni has one of the best fan base not only in India but throughout the world. He has earned respect from almost all the players playing or have played along with him. Dhoni recently said that you can’t command or demand respect from others, you need to earn that.
Dhoni has surely earned that respect from the people as the Indian crowd go mad whenever he is shown in the camera be it during batting or fielding.
“As a leader, you have to earn that respect of the people. You can’t command or demand respect. If you are in some position, the position is respected, but you want the people to respect you,” MS Dhoni said via Dubai Eye 103.8 YT.
Former captain of CSK has recently had to face disappointed as the team couldn’t finish in the top 4 and went out of the competition. The speculations are being made that the legendary cricketer will not be seen on the field again for CSK. But will it be the case or will Dhoni play another season of IPL?
