MS Dhoni creates history with 300 dismissals in IPL 2023 Final

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni etched his name in the record books as he became the first Indian cricketer to achieve 300 dismissals in T20 cricket during the thrilling IPL 2023 final against the Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The 41-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman further added to his dismissals tally with a catch to dismiss Wriddhiman Saha. Dhoni currently leads the charts for wicketkeepers in T20 cricket, having accumulated a remarkable total of 296 dismissals. His tally includes catches and stumpings while donning the gloves, along with five catches as a non-keeper in his illustrious 377-match career.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Dhoni continues to dominate the wicketkeeping records. He boasts an impressive 180 dismissals in 243 innings, comprising of 138 catches and 42 stumpings.
