RCB started the chase as AB De Villiers and Virat Kohli looked to get their team past the line with Jasprit Bumrah trying to defend a mere 7 runs. Virat Kohli scored a boundary of the last ball to win the match for RCB and bag them important 2 points.

AB De Villiers was adjudged the man of the match who scored 55 runs and all-rounder Washington Sundar was awarded the game changer of the match for his bowling heroics which saw him concede 12 runs in his quota of 4 overs.

This win saw RCB reach the 3rd position in the table and saw Mumbai slip to 5th.
