MI vs CSK IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings lose early wickets, stand at 30/2 after the powerplay

After the first innings, Mumbai Indians set a score of 163 for CSK to chase in 120 balls. Shane Watson and Murali Vijay opened for CSK while Trent Boult was handed the new ball. CSK lost their first wicket in the first over in the form of Watson with just 5 runs on the board.

The second wicket was lost quickly when James Pattinson struck in the very next over. CSK lost both its openers cheaply in a run chase of 162. Mumbai Indians dominated the powerplay with the bowlers doing the job for the defending champions. Rohit Sharma’s boys restrict CSK at 30 runs after the first six overs.
