Due to some flaws in the final stages of IPL 2022, Lucknow Super Giants’ initially promising voyage came to an end. The KL Rahul-led team will be aiming to make up for last season’s mistakes and go the distance this time.
Seven players were released by LSG, and they entered the mini auction with a total of INR.23.35 Crore. These players included Jason Holder, Dushmantha Chameera, Evin Lewis, and Manish Pandey. In the previous season, Deepak Hooda, Quinton de Kock, and Rahul dominated the batting, so LSG required a middle-order batter who could also close out games. To secure Nicholas Pooran’s services, they paid up to 16 crore.
Ayush Badoni also came out as a promising young talent for the team in its debut year and can do wonders if in form.
