Kuldeep Yadav thanks his former team as his journey ends at the franchise he joined in 2014

Kuldeep Yadav will now be playing for Delhi Capitals in the upcoming IPL season.

Kuldeep Yadav, the Indian chinaman who missed out on the call for the international season last year due to knee surgery was taken by Delhi Capitals in the TATA IPL mega auction for 2 crores which happened in Bengaluru this weekend. The chinaman had his base price set at 1 crore.

Kuldeep was not retained by his former side Kolkata Knight Riders before the IPL mega auction and went with the likes of Andre Russell, Venkatesh Iyer, Sunil  Narine, and Varun Chakravarthy.

The spinner was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders camp since 2014 and just was able to make 6 appearances for the franchise over the last two editions of the IPL, before being released by the Knights. He has 40 wickets to his name in the league while playing 45 matches for KKR since he made his debut in the 2016 season against his first franchise, Mumbai Indians.

Kuldeep Yadav shared a small video on his Twitter handle to thank all the players, coaches, staff, and the owner’s Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla for the opportunity he got at KKR and thanked all of them.

A special journey for the spinner comes to an end with his old franchise KKR and now will be seen in the new camp of Delhi Capitals and the player will be eager to showcase his skills.
