Know more about RCB’s Unbox Event – ABD and Chris Gayle’s jersey retirement, Jersey unveiling for 2023 season, first practice session of Virat and company and more

At their home stadium, M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, RCB will open their IPL 2023 season with a match against Mumbai Indians (MI). Last year, RCB lost to Rajasthan Royals in qualifier 2 by seven wickets in order to advance to the playoffs and place fourth in the competition.

At the RCB Unbox event, fans will have the chance to watch their favourite players, such as Faf Du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, etc., during the team’s first practise. The 2023 jersey will also be unveiled. At the event, the RCB’s top three players, Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, and AB de Villiers, will all be present. By permanently retiring their jersey numbers and adding them to the RCB Hall of Fame, the team will honour de Villiers and Gayle.

AB de Villiers, aka “Mr. 360,” and Chris Gayle, aka “Universe Boss,” have arrived in Bengaluru in preparation for Sunday’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Unbox event. To make their arrival known, the RCB franchise posted images of the legendary batters on their social media accounts. RCB, the first IPL team to do so, will honour AB de Villiers and Gayle at the event for their contributions to the team while they competed in the IPL.
