Andre Russell might be considered fully fit to play the playoffs as fans are excited to see him back on the pitch.

On Friday, Kolkata Knight Riders southpaw and dangerous batsman Andre Russell might feature for the playoffs round, if considered fit to play. The franchise’s team mentor Mike Hussey said at a press conference that Andre Russell is likely to be available for the playoffs stage of the Indian Premier League from Sunday. After their sensational performance against the depleted Rajasthan Royals, they have given their team a big chance to qualify for the playoffs and take the fourth spot officially. They won the match by 86 runs over Rajasthan Royals, which not only provided a boost to their net run rate but also made it an impossible task for the Mumbai Indians to topple them.

The Purple Army is surely going to play against the third-place team of the Indian Premier League phase in the Eliminator round, which will be a do or die situation for either of the teams. The inclusion of Andre Russell has been a huge boost throughout the season as it has benefited the team a lot.

So, I think he’d be pushing hard over the next few days to get back in for the final.” He is a world-class T20 batsman when it comes to his performance overall. His magnificent show of hitting sixes all around the park will always be remembered by the fans. He has always played an entertaining inning not just for the team but also for the fans who cheer them.
