Kevin Pietersen has made a statement following RCB’s termination from the IPL 2024 last night when they lost the eliminator game against Rajasthan Royals. Kohli’s wait for the trophy continues as RCB are trophyless for 16 years now.
The former England Cricketer has suggested Kohli to play for Delhi Capitals instead of Royal challengers Bangalore as he is in search of IPL trophy. Pietersen feels Virat Kohli deserves a trophy and he can’t get it in RCB for some reasons.
Delhi can be a good place for him as it is his home town and also have experience in playing at Delhi pitches. “Virat Kohli deserves a trophy. He deserves to play in the team that could help him get that trophy. I think it is Delhi. Delhi (Capitals) is the place where Virat needs to go. Delhi are as desperate as Bengaluru,” Pietersen said via Star sports.
Virat Kohli faced another heart break yesterday when the team Royal Challengers Bangalore got defeated in the eliminator game against Rajasthan Royals. They didn’t manage to put a good score on board and have to face the consequences. RCB played massively well this season especially their last 6 league games where they didn’t face any defeat. But the loss in last game was enough to take them out of the competition.
