IPL2020: “Whatever happens from here is up to the Gods”, Eoin Morgan on KKR’s chances of qualifying after RR clash

The IPL 2020 season has been nothing but a thriller and it is still one even after the league stage finishing in two days. We only have MI who has qualified and three spots remain empty. On Sunday evening RR and KKR contested in a match and the winner KKR stayed alive in the contest.

A 60 run win for KKR demised RR’s chances of qualifying but kept the team from Kolkata in the game. Even after winning the game, their chances of qualifying lye I the hands of other teams performances.

“Yes, I was aware of the numbers (about net run rate) but you need to first get yourself into a winning position. I don’t think we could have done anything more today. So whatever happens from here is up to the Gods,” Morgan said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

In case SRH wins their last game then the qualification chances of KKR will be on the hands of a disastrous defeat of RCB or DC.
