Lowest first-innings total for Lucknow Super Giants, as they were bowled out cheaply, is 141 something they can fight with against DC? After batting first at Ekana, LSG struggled, while DC showed their experience with the ball. Stay tuned for the chase.

Delhi bowl out Lucknow for 141 after late collapse

Lucknow Super Giants were bowled out for 141 in 18.4 overs after choosing to bat against Delhi Capitals. The innings never settled, with regular wickets and a sharp collapse at the end leaving them short of a competitive total.

Lucknow lost early momentum despite a brisk start from Mitchell Marsh, who made 35 off 28 balls. Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram both got starts but failed to carry on, as Delhi kept striking at key moments.

The middle phase saw some resistance from Abdul Samad, who scored 36, but he lacked support as wickets continued to fall. A brief highlight came from debutant Mukul Choudhary, who struck two boundaries off Kuldeep Yadav before being dismissed for 14. His stay was short but showed intent.

Ngidi and Natarajan lead Delhi’s attack

Delhi’s bowlers controlled the game through the middle and death overs. Kuldeep Yadav finished with 2 for 31, breaking a key stand and removing Choudhary.

The final overs belonged to Lungi Ngidi and T Natarajan. Both picked up three wickets each, with Ngidi cleaning up the tail. Lucknow lost their last four wickets for just 33 runs in the final five overs.

Shahbaz Ahmed remained unbeaten on 15, but the total looked below par on a surface where 160-plus appeared achievable. Delhi will go into the chase as favourites after a disciplined bowling performance.
