Lucknow Super Giants’ young pacer Prince Yadav announced his arrival in the Indian Premier League (IPL) by claiming his maiden wicket, dismissing the dangerous Travis Head. The dismissal came in the eighth over of the innings, where Yadav bowled a full delivery on middle and off, completely deceiving Head, who attempted a big heave but missed it entirely. The ball rattled the stumps, sending the Aussie back to the pavilion for 47 off 28 balls.
Prince Yadav bowled impressively in the previous game but failed to register a wicket. However, on this occasion, he ensured his presence was felt by taking a crucial breakthrough for Lucknow Super Giants. The stadium in Uppal fell silent as Yadav celebrated his first IPL scalp, removing one of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s most explosive batters.
