Rajasthan Royals’ young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi delivered a breathtaking performance against Gujarat Titans during their IPL 2025 clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The 14-year-old prodigy tore into veteran pacer Ishant Sharma, hammering 28 runs in a single over — a moment that electrified the stadium.
The fourth over of the innings turned into a nightmare for Ishant Sharma. It began with Suryavanshi pulling a short delivery over deep backward square leg for a six. The next ball, a fuller one on the stumps, was flicked elegantly over deep midwicket for another six. Continuing the onslaught, Suryavanshi danced down the track and sliced a slower ball through the off side for four runs.

Ishant tried to recover but sprayed two consecutive deliveries wide outside off, conceding two extra runs. Regaining strike, Suryavanshi produced a thick edge on an attempted slash, and the ball raced away over third man for a six. He finished the over with a cracking boundary past the covers off a 136.4 kph delivery, capping an incredible sequence where 28 runs came off the over.
At the end of four overs, Rajasthan Royals were cruising at 60/0, with Suryavanshi unbeaten on a stunning 35 off just 13 deliveries at a strike rate of 269.23. His partner Yashasvi Jaiswal contributed 21 off 11 balls.
This fearless assault against an experienced bowler like Ishant Sharma showcased the remarkable talent and confidence of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is quickly emerging as one of the biggest stories of IPL 2025.
