Rahul, who last played a T20I for India in the 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final against England, has been out of the national T20 setup. His training with Nayar hints at a possible shift in approach as he looks to cement his role in Delhi Capitals’ middle order this season.
Road to redemption after injury setback
In IPL 2023, Rahul captained Lucknow SuperGiants but was forced to exit midway through the tournament due to injury. However, he would like to make the most of this season and get back to form in the shortest format and his latest practice sessions indicate that he is keen to make a mark in the 20-over format once again.
