KKR and PBKS will meet each other for the first time in this season’s IPL. The match is scheduled at Kolkata Knight Riders’ home ground Eden Gardens at 7:30 pm (IST).
Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings are two of the teams which faced each other in the finals of IPL 2014. Now as the seasons have progressed, one of the teams are searching for wins to go above the table and one are comfortably winning and placing themselves in the good situation.
KKR are on 2nd place and they are here with their close victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore. Whereas Punjab Kings played their last game against Gujarat Titans. They faced a disappointing loss in that game.
Today, 9th place Punjab Kings would be hoping to secure a victory over KKR to keep their hopes of top-4 alive. If PBKS remain on the losing side today as well then it will be difficult for them to get the playoffs qualification.
