Mumbai Indians’ captain Hardik Pandya has been fined again for his offence of maintaining slow over rate in the IPL 2024 game against Lucknow Super Giants played last night.
The Mumbai Indians captain has done this twice now and will have to face a match ban if it happens for the third time in this season. Hardik has been fined INR 24 Lakhs which is double than what he had to give earlier.
This is a second offence in the same tournament, thus the fine was made double. Hardik Pandya’s men had another disappointing night as they lost in Lucknow yesterday by 4 wickets. Mumbai could only score 144 runs in their innings and it was pretty obvious that Lucknow Super Giants will chase that down in their home turf.
Hardik Pandya and team aren’t able to find the rhythm they wanted from the start in this season’s IPL. The bowlers and batters are not performing upto their mark which is the main reason they are on the 9th place of the IPL points table. Mumbai Indians’ qualification now looks difficult especially after their defeat against LSG last night.
