Uncapped Indian players named Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma have been amazing for Punjab Kings in their chase of 200 runs against Gujarat Titans today at Narendra Modi Stadium. Both these batters who haven’t played for Indian cricket team yet has managed to get Punjab Kings over the line in this tough game.
These batters help the team earn two crucial points which took them to the 5th position in the points table. Punjab Kings were nowhere near the victory in this game against Gujarat Titans as the bowlers did an amazing job for the home side.
Bairstow, Prabhsimran, and skipper Shikhar Dhawan were departed at the very early stages of this chase. Punjab Kings was looking hopeless before Shashank Singh entered the crease. Half-century at a strike rate of 200 surely gave some hopes to the away fans. Ashutosh Sharma who was playing his first game of IPL came as an impact player on the field.
