Gujarat Titans are at their home stadium named Narendra Modi Stadium, Gujarat today to play against Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2024. The competition are at it’s final stages as only two games are pending for every team and the 3rd and 4th spot are still very much open.
First and second have been occupied by Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals respectively. Now CSK, SRh, DC, RCB, LSG, and GT, all are looking to finish in the top 4 to play the playoffs. However the percentage of qualification is not equally divided amongst these teams. It’s just there’s certain conditions or situations that needs to be done in order to get the top 4 place.
Kolkata Knight Riders are comfortably sitting at the top and a win or lose will not make them play the eliminator. So they could try out new things today. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans are on 8th position and will need a victory to go up and remain in the playoffs race.
